My toenail is broken and i don't know how to cover it?

wash it in anti-septic lotion and tape it down with sports/strapping tape. If its too expensive for your budget (like me some weeks) another alternative is to use masking or duct tape make sure you tape it going with the break not against as it can cause the nail to bend backwards and the adhesive will cause complications. as long as there is no chance of the sticky side coming in contact with the skin under your toenail all should be fine.My toenail is broken and i don't know how to cover it?

clean it with an antiseptic solution and cover it with an non-adherant bandage / pad.


u can try and cut it a little shorter but might be painful.


do not cut it too short because it can cause an in grown toe nail that will give u more problems.
you should go visit your doctor. Or you can wrap it up in some bandages.
There is no way to cover a broken toe nail without it being obvious that you are trying to cover it. I would suggest you wear socks until the toe nail heals, or just let the nail ';hang out there';.





You could have the toe nail removed, bandaged, and tell everyone your toe was run over by a lawn mower, you were in an automobile accident, your toe was stepped on while protesting in a race riot, anti-abortion demonstration, etc.
I would cover it with a band-aid. Be sure to clean it first though to avoid infection. Soap and water should do the job. Do not rip off the toenail. That will only make things worse. You should probably see a doctor if it gets painful.
Wear socks with your sandals.
