there waa a scab on it and when it came off my toe was bleeding bad what should i do i also have a bad headache and feel like i am running a slight fever so what should i do ??Very infected ingrown toenail?

You do need to see a Dr. or Podiatrist, but sometimes that takes a few days.


In the meantime, soak your foot in warm Epsom's salt water for about 20 min. at least once but better twice a day, Bary it very well, you ME even use a hair dryer on low setting to make sure it is completely dry, then rub antibiotic ointment (such as neosporine or bacitracine, not just a first aid cream) around the toenail and into the open area.


If you can't soak twice a day, be sure to use the antibiotic ointment or cream at least twice a day and keep white socks on if possible.


Take Tylenol for the fever, which may be the cause of your headache.
