After ingrown toenail removal..?

I had an ingrown toenail removed yesterday. The doc removed 1/2 of toenail and then some surrounding tissue.


He burned (cauterized) all of it to help kill the infection. He told me to soak it, but can I so soon?


And he told me to start letting it air it out soon; how soon should I???After ingrown toenail removal..?
ugh, i have had that twice, but the doctor never burned my toe or took out surrounding tissue. i just kept a bandaid on i the whole time and to clean it, get some warm water and epsom salt in a large bowl and put your foot in there for 20 min. i wouldn't do this right away, maybe a a few days after.
